Little bit of news

Wesley is doing well, seems to be slowly progressing every day.  The fluids from his tummy seem to still be doing better.  He is very, VERY agitated about the tube being down his throat still and just can't hardly seem to rest for fighting with it.  Despite all efforts of properly attaching it to his chin he still manages to yank it out every now and then.  We know that it's medically necessary for that tube to still be in there but it seems like if he ever gets it out there will be leaps and bounds of recovery.  Lord willing in the next day or two he'll be able to get that yucky thing out.   He also doesn't like stickers to have to be pulled off.   He has some monitors that are attached by stickers and they have to remove and reposition them periodically.  Poor little booger.  :(

Well, daddy has been sick since yesterday and hasn't got to see Wesley since yesterday morning.  Think I might have a 48 hr virus, beings I felt the worst yesterday afternoon and evening and am feeling tolerable today.  Fever is gone so far today, so if it stays that way I'll probably get to see him this evening again.  Probably go ahead and wear a mask just to be safe.

So, Momma and Wesley got several visitors yesterday.  First ones I know of that have got to go up and actually see him.  We have had several other visitors stop by but were unable to go up and see him yet.  Was an expecially good day for it too beings daddy was out of pocket.  We have had a tremendous amount of support in all forms from all of the local congregations and we truly feel so blessed to know that even though we are 1500 miles from home to see God's work in other places.  Thanks to all for everything.

Well, that's about all I got for now.  If there are any developements today I will try to get it on here tonight.  Thanks everyone for all the prayers and support and for taking interest in our little miracle.
