Another Teaser

Welp, I am sure everyone knows how life goes.  We have been super duper busy with this and that going on.  Right now Miranda is under going some medical tests to try and find out what is going on with her.  She's suffering from fatigue, fever, joint pain, etc.  Nothing local Dr's can put a finger on so we are in Houston running through some gauntlets trying to figure this out.  We are really praying that they find something, because something is going on.  All prayers are always appreciated.

The kids are doing pretty good.  Leah and Wesley are both growing like crazy!  I have included some fairly recent pictures for another teaser until we can get free enough to put on a REAL photo layout.  Sorry everyone for not keeping up with this better, and we truly appreciate all the thoughts and prayers from everyone on these kids.  They have been such a blessing to us no one can realize.  Love to all of y'all and hope to be putting more pictures on soon.

Well, you know what they say about no news...

Well, as the saying goes...it's good news!!!

Wek got out of the hospital yesterday afternoon around 3PM!!  Yippeeee!!!

He had a good night at Gramma's last night, figured we hang around close to the hospital for a day or two just to make sure everything was golden before heading home.  So, everything's going well and seems to be well on his way to being well.  He already is acting like his old self and feeling good.

Momma's been sick so she's fighting that and this morning Leah woke up feeling kind of yucky so Lord willing we'll get past all that as well.  The nurse checking Miranda out of the Dr. office for her sickness yesterday said that the dosage of antibiotic prescribed to her was higher than they give people at the hospital!!  That's how bad a shape she was in!

SO, long story longer Wek's out and doing much better.  Thanks again for all the prayers and support from everyone again.  REALLY hope to update on a more regular basis (not just during hospital stays!!)

God bless.

Just for fun

Just some pics n stuff.

Aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh....

Here's momma's bed

Just me being me!!

Time's off...

Just realized I still had the time set for Florida time...so the posts previous to this were EST...not a big deal to most, but that's one of my OC's.  ;)

Yee-Haw!!

Welp, he is just this minute back down to a 1/8 L/min flow!!  Back to normal so far as that is concerned.  The Dr. said this morning that his lungs are clear and everything is looking well.  He will continue with the antibiotics to clear out the infection all the way for about ten days.  He's having a lot of congestion that we have to keep cleaned out of his nose but that's because all of the junky stuff is working out of his chest...so that's Good.

If eveything continues to go well he should be released tomorrow.  Will probably hang around at Gramma's house in Midland for a day or two to make sure that he will still be stable but should be home next week Lord willin'.  Yippeee!

Thanks for all the continued prayers and support from everyone!  Will continue to keep you posted!

He's down!!

Yea!!  He just this second was lowered to 1/2 L/min flow!!  That much closer to home!  Yippeeeee!!

Here we go again...

Well folks, for those of you that know Wek was admitted to the hospital in Midland yesterday for double pneumonia and strep throat.  He got momma up around 3:30 yesterday morning and his sats were low.  He usually runs on 1/8 L/min flow on his O2 but we had him cranked up to a full 2 L/min and that wasn't keeping him in the 90's.

For those of you that do know (which if you've read this far includes you now as well) he's doing much better today.  Saw the Dr. this morning and he said that he expects the duration to last around 4 to 5 days going off of his improvements so far.  We've prepared to settle in for the long haul but as always hope for the best.  He's been talking and smiling today, but he did virtually none of yesterday so he's already doing much much better today.  They have lowered his O2 flow to 3/4 L/min flow and he's in the upper 90's.

Also as you will see in a couple of pics below, Wek has a new big sister!  Her name is Leah Faith and she's been a wonderful addition to the Szaloy family!  Hope all is well with everyone and hope to have time to update the blog on a regular basis more (not just when someone's sick)!  Thanks for the prayers and support again.
