A Little Bit Of Info

Sorry folks, but no pictures.  Daddy's in Texas and the camera's in Florida.  However, do have some information to update.

Wesley started recieved formula on Monday the 15th and is doing very well.  They have been increasing the amount he eats at 9 hr intervals now, he is up to 21 cc's (which is a lot compared to the 6 cc's he started out on).  He took a day or two to figure out the whole bottle thing, but he's a pro at it now and seems like whenever he gets done he's ready for a little more.  As his feed intake increases, they back him off of his IV liquids proportionately. (spell check?)  I can't remember for sure but the magic number is 40 cc's or 60 cc's that will match what they have been giving him through IV.  At that point if he's still doing well they take out the IV central line and it's soon to be home from there.  He's well on his way to getting out of the hospital and can't imagine any way he could be doing better. 

Thanks again to all that have given us so much support in so many ways, and to all the brethren in Florida that have been for so much support.  It sure made me feel a lot better knowing that there were so many people on our side in the most important way to look after Miranda while I was gone to work.

And of course the wonderful staff at the hospital that have been so good in taking care of Wesley and allowing us to take such a part in his recovery every way we can.
