Breathin' all on his own again!

Wesley was still on the breathing machine when we got in to see him this morning.  He wasn't quite where they wanted him to be before the night was over.  Here are some more pics and video just cause, well, you know...

I was conentrating more on the sprawled out poses today.

The latest and greatest news is that Wesley is breathin' all on his own again!  They removed the breathing tube about 9:30 PM this evening.  He was pretty fussy and upset (as one could imagine) but it was so good to actually her him cry.  He immediately was able to handle "room air" without the aid of an enriched oxygen or air supply, and it just got better and better as time went on and he settled down.  He is doing extremely well to our expectations.  We are very proud of our boy and what a good job he is doing.  Good night, little Wesley.
